What Is The Aluminum Composite Panel?
Aluminum Composite Panel (ACP) is a lightweight, multi-layer architectural material consisting of two aluminum sheets bonded to a polymer-based core. The typical structure includes a front aluminum sheet, Polyethylene(PE) plastic core, and rear aluminum skin. During production, the aluminum surfaces undergo chemical pretreatment and coil-coating, followed by continuous extrusion or hot-bonding processes to ensure strong adhesion and long-term stability between the core and the aluminum sheets.
Core Characteristics & Advantages
1. Lightweight, high strength & flatness stability
It weighs far less than pure aluminum or steel of the same thickness, yet the sheet material as a whole has an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio and a smooth and flat surface.
2. Excellent processability
Easy to cut, bend, groove, and shape.
3. Efficient installation
Reduced panel weight and compatibility with stud systems help shorten installation schedules.
Common Applications
Interior Wall Panels & Partitions: Interior wall cladding for offices, hotels, retail stores; Demountable partitions; Feature / accent walls; Column wraps.
Signage & Advertising Structures: Advertising billboards, Identification sign boards, Signage panels.
